Ryan Palczynski, Associate AIA
LEED Green Associate
PROJECT DESIGNER
An enthusiast of craftsmanship, traditional construction, and architectural history, Ryan enjoys getting his hands dirty to bring things from old to new through the adaptive reuse of historic buildings. As a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Architecture and a concentration in Preservation and Restoration, Ryan had the privilege to study art and architecture in Rome through Notre Dame’s Rome Studies Program, and spent his summers gaining experience in the treatment of historic materials, historic window restoration, and traditional brick construction. Ryan is a LEED Green Associate and believes that sustainability and historic preservation go hand-in-hand.
Outside of the office, you may find Ryan mountain biking, backpacking, admiring historic maps, and -- always striving to be a “renaissance man” -- exploring unique crafts and trades like stone carving, bricklaying, ornamental plaster, and darkroom printing.
