Riley Morris
Architectural Conservator
Riley studied Anthropology and Archaeology at the University of Missouri before receiving her Masters in Historic Preservation from Clemson and the College of Charleston’s joint master’s program where she specialized in architectural materials conservation. Her experience includes object treatment, materials testing and analysis, evaluating existing conditions, and building documentation. She is a member of AIC, APT, and the Washington Conservation Guild. Riley previously worked as an Architectural Conservator for George Washington’s Mount Vernon, where she was responsible for the conservation treatment and materials testing of eighteenth-century standing structures, archaeological collections, and architectural collections. In her free time, Riley likes to shop vintage markets and estate sales, read, and explore DC’s museums.
