Allison Huchko, RA, LEED AP BD+C
ASSOCIATE
Allison is a Registered Architect and LEED AP BD+C accredited professional. She earned a B.S. in Architecture with a minor in Historic Preservation followed by a Master’s in Architecture with a focus in Urban Design from Kent State University. At Kent State, she was awarded the top graduate achievement with the highest combined GPA from both the undergraduate and graduate programs. During the summer of 2022, Allison participated in the ICOMOS International Exchange Program and performed preventative maintenance and conditions assessments on historic buildings in Lithuania.
Allison’s love for architecture and historic preservation was born out of her first trip abroad at the age of 16, when she visited Barcelona’s captivating La Sagrada Familia. Allison enjoys architecture and preservation because it gives her the unique opportunity to positively impact the world in ways that could outlive her. At MTFA, Allison offers her expertise on a variety of Architecture and Historic Preservation projects through all phases of design.
Outside of work, Allison can be found volunteering with her alumni association, mentoring other young professionals as they pursue their architectural license, roller skating through the National Mall, hunting for antiques, or creating beautiful watercolor portraits for her Etsy shop!
